Matt started trading in 2006, and has steadily built the business, which now serves a variety of domestic and commercial clients, including the NHS, Malvern Hills Conservators, and Bromford Housing Association. He also assists gardeners and landscapers with more difficult trees when required.
 

 

 

Working alongside Brad, who is also a fully qualified climber, the pair are professional, helpful, and quick to respond to both enquiries and emergency call outs. Their focus is firstly on seeing whether a troubled tree can be saved with careful pruning. Should the tree need to come down, then the dismantling process begins, this creates minimum impact on the surrounding area by using rigging and lowering techniques.  All the necessary safety equipment, techniques and precautions are used and taken and all risk is assessed prior to commencing any work to ensure a safe removal of the tree.

Matt’s interests are all geared towards keeping fit and able so he can carry out the demands of tree  surgery work and are fairly active, as well as his work; they include fell running, cycling and walking. An avid reader, this is possibly the only restful activity of the working week!
